Your Role as a Social Media Manager
As a pivotal member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand goals and engages our customers. You’ll act as the voice of Amazon across various platforms, crafting compelling content and promoting unique campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies that increase our online presence and customer engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, text) across various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor, track, analyze and report on performance metrics across all social media platforms.
- Collaborate with internal departments to develop unique content that adheres to our brand voice.
- Engage and respond to followers, fostering a positive community around our brand while managing online conversations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to enhance our social media strategy.
- Execute paid social media advertising campaigns, focusing on audience targeting and maximizing ROI.
- Measure and report on performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to optimize results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
- Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
- Creative and strategic thinking skills with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in visual content creation (graphic design, video editing) is a plus.
